Silent mode, for example, keeps noise below a certain threshold. The fans spin only a little, I know they can go faster due to a previous erroneous configuration which had the fans running on full power, all the time which made a lot of noise. Fan Xpert 4 has four built-in modes: Silent, Standard, Turbo, and Full Speed. This results in a noticeable increase in temperature on the case's surface and the CPU is as high as 60c even when it's idling I have changed the BIOS to aggressive fan mode and to detect new fans on next startup (it was previously set to always) but that's not made any difference as far as I can see. This machine is in a JONSBO v4 case and the fans are correctly attached to the motherboard's fan headers however I can't regulate any of the fans, not even the four pinned CPU fan. I have attempted to modify the BIOS to detect them but that hasn't made any difference. I have a DQ35JO motherboard for my secondary machine used for downloads and I can't get it to manage the fans at all.
